The last Shabbat of each month is Shabbat Mevarchim HaChodesh, the Shabbat that blesses the month. On this Shabbat, a special prayer is recited which names the coming month, identifies the day/s of its Rosh Chodesh-head of the month, and beseeches G-d to renew it... "for life and for peace, for gladness and for joy, for deliverance and for consolation." According to Chassidic teaching, the blessing of the month evokes the flow of sustenance and spiritual energy for the coming month.

»Our Services
At Chabad of the Inland Empire we believe that each individual knows how he or she best communicates with G-d. The language you use or the pace you set for yourself are not of paramount importance. Our traditional services are in Hebrew and English using a Hebrew and English Siddur (prayer book) making it easy to follow in either language. Page numbers are announced continuously so you may always find the place in the prayer book.  Connect with the day and with G-d and with your own soul in whatever personal manner suits you best.

The tunes are old, familiar ones, and they are sung by those of us who know the words and by those of us who can only hum along, with all the gusto befitting the joy of the Shabbat.

Following the services on Shabbat is a Kiddush.  The casual atmosphere encourages people to meet, socialize and enjoy discussions.

At Chabad of the Inland Empire, we see the children as an integral part of our community and our future. We have special services for children, making the Synagogue a fun and exciting place where they will be excited to return each week.

Kaddish Recital
For the first eleven months after the death of a loved one the Kaddish prayer is recited by relatives during prayer services. If you recently lost a loved one, we invite you to come to our services to say the Kaddish.
If you cannot come in person, we can arrange to have someone say the Kaddish in memory of your loved one.
Memorial Board
Our sages tell us that the best memorial for a loved one that has pased on is to donate Tzedaka (Charity) in their memory. You can dedicate a plaque on our Memorial Board, which will bear the name and date of the passing of a loved one.
Sponsor a Kiddush
Sponsor a kiddush in honor of a special occasion, (birthday, anniversary, yartzeit), family member, friend, or in honor of the community.
